Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic

NCSG Hauling & Rigging is seeking Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to assist our maintenance team that supports our Bonnyville, AB region. The HD Apprentice Mechanic will be responsible for effectively performing maintenance and service of property, equipment, and vehicles. Why Join Our Team? Strong company culture and Core Values Competitive wages Benefits and Pension contributions Your success will be defined by your ability to: Daily maintenance of property, equipment (i.e., Trucks and Trailers), and vehicles throughout the facility; Inspects and evaluates operating conditions of equipment and vehicles; Performs maintenance activities and modifies existing equipment and systems to keep the facility in good running order; Be able to read, understand, and follow hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams; Ensures that all maintenance is completed in accordance with established department policies and safety regulations; Attends training sessions to update technical knowledge as needed; Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications: Valid and current apprenticeship must be in place; Locals preferred, if not local must be willing to relocate; Valid Driver’s License, must provide current five year commercial driver's abstract that meets our Acceptable Driver's Standard policy. Possess a minimum of 1 years' experience working with Heavy Trucks and Trailers; First Aid required. Successful completion of pre-employment A&D testing required. Position Details: Regular shift is Monday to Friday with evening and weekend overtime as needed. Field service calls will be required. Must have own tools for start of work term and remove them at end of work term at own expense. Must be a member of or willing to become a member of CLAC.
