We invest in the growth and development ofour teams to actively participate in the creation of memories and moments thatmatter to our residents.SUMMARY OF POSITION:The Community Relations Manager (CRM) is ultimately responsible for bringing the Outside Community into OurCommunity, so people can understand whowe are and what we do. We want to highlight and show off all the great things we have to offer and the outstanding services we delivereach-and-every day. The CRM will grow our lead base and turn prospects intoresidents.Reporting to the GeneralManager and/or designate and supported by the Director of Sales and Marketing,the responsibility of the CRM is to build relationships, identify sales leads andengage decision makers to qualify potential residents through networking, eventplanning/hosting, and community outreach. The successful candidate will be atrusted advisor for those exploring seniors’ living options and have a proventrack record of closing sales, along with a passion for working with seniors.RESPONSIBILITIES:Includedbut not limited to:1. Engage and mobilizeyour team to achieve the purpose, goals, objective and key results of theorganization.2. Be an engagedcollaborative team player, developing and maintaining professionalrelationships that support and strengthen the organizational culture andpurpose.3. Model the valuesand leadership behaviours of organization and inspire other to do the same.4. Achieveoccupancy targets by working with the GM and site leadership teams toestablish, nurture and close client relationships. To accurately forecast client needs andbehaviors.5. Arrangeand host prospect tours.6. Identifycommunity events, sponsorships and other local opportunities for the communityto participate.7. Utilizeand maintain the community database on a daily basis. Computer skills are amust.8. Understandmarket trends, as well as competitor services and offerings from features,rates, incentives, special offerings, occupancies, etc., all to maintain acompetitive edge.9. Workingclosely with the General Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing tocreate the community marketing plan and annual budget.10. Distribute marketing collateral such asbrochures, posters, etc. in targeted locations (i.e. health units, seniors’centers, community centers, churches etc.).11. Work with other CRM’s to share insightsand best practices, including monthly teleconference calls and quarterlymeetings.12. Collaborate with the GM and otherdepartmental managers at weekly meetings to ensure operational excellence.This will include training employees oncustomer service techniques and facilitating site tours.13. Meet and/or communicate daily with theGeneral Managers and weekly with the Director, Sales & Marketing.14. Required to work positively and collaboratively with all team members and supervisors.15. Additional duties as directed by thesite GM when required.QUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of 3 years of sales and customer service experience requiredA passion working with seniorsExperience and ability to use common computer applications, including databasesMust have reliable transportation and be able to travel locally responsibilityAll successful applicants must pass the vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check applicable to Provincial guidelines.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Effective written and spoken communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillWork independently and in a team environmentHighly organized and able to multi-taskHighly self-motivated, with a passion for delivering outstanding resultsAbility to work weekends, evenings and/or flexible hours (i.e. to attend/facilitate meetings/events), as requiredSolid working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge and previous use of a CRM or Data Base management system.Ability to travel, as required.West Coast Seniors Housing Management is an equal opportunity employer.
