For more information, follow Telesat on X and LinkedIn or visit www.telesat.comTelesat is currently hiring for a Test Engineer that will be responsible for preparing and delivering test cases including presentations, reference documentation and test strategies for network equipment deployment and operation.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop test plan plans to test various protocols like IS-IS, MPLS, OPSF, BGPWork with vendors and review their test plans and release notesTest whether the required LightSpeed components are MEF complaint.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.5+ years of progressive experience in testing IP networks, with a focus on routing, firewalls, SDWAN, IPSEC VPNs, and deep packet inspection.Understanding of Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) standards and objectives as they relate to Carrier Ethernet Services.Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, CISSP or equivalent are highly desirable.Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills.
