If you possess previous Reception experience, have excellent customer service skills, work well in a team, and have a positive attitude, we would like to hear from you!About the Role:The Receptionist is responsible for handling general front office reception and administration duties. The Receptionist greets all guests in a professional and friendly manner, answers phone calls on a multi-line switchboard and directs them to the appropriate departments, handles all customer inquiries, sorts and distributes mail, and places supply orders. Schedule: Full-Time- Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM with potentially alternating SaturdaysWage :$18/h - $21/h (depending on experience)What We Offer:Extended Health CareDentalRRSPEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid time off, etc.Employee DiscountsWeekly IncentivesReal-time Comprehensive TrainingWho You Are:Minimum of 6 months of previous Reception/ Admin experience in a fast-paced, high volume environmentMust have previous experience managing a multi-line switchboardPrevious automotive experience is an asset but is not requiredKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, with a basic knowledge of accounting reconciliationsAbility to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client baseExcellent communication skills and the ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectationsComputer Skills - MS Office applications, Outlook, ExcelExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsWhat Your Day Will Look Like:Efficiently help customers (internal and external) with the highest level of serviceAnswering and directing all incoming telephone lines on a multi-line switchboard in a timely mannerService all showroom facing client inquiries in a prompt and effective fashionContinuous effective communication with weekend receptionists on any new updates on duties and internal dealership communication, and programsCommunicate customer feedback and concerns to all appropriate parties and supervisorsPerform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical dutiesTakes payments for services and productThe ability to multitask and remain a director of first impressions whilst in a high volume, fast paced environmentSubmit weekly stationary and business cards orders as necessaryPrepare correspondence and documents as necessaryOrganize catering and assist in dealer related functions, private sales, employee engagement eventsManage petty cash and receipts, balance and log into spreadsheetManage new and used vehicle stock in processRemain abreast on all product knowledge, promotions, and industry trendsDemonstrate behaviours consistent with the company’s expectations as it pertains to interactions with customers, colleagues and vendorsAdministrative duties as requiredBe part of an amazing team that lives their values out loud each day!Trotman Auto Group is proudly an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all applications.
