Journeyman Formwork Carpenter

Overview Lafarge is hiring Journeyman Formwork Carpenters for our Vancouver Infrastructure operations. This opportunity is in Burnaby where we are building a new maintenance operations structure for our partners. This is going to be a 2 - 3 year project, fulltime, non-seasonal. We are looking for certified Carpenters, that have concrete formwork experience to work on this project with us. Responsibilities Heavy Civil - Industrial, Infrastructure, and Roadwork Construction Forming, Stripping, Placing of Lafarge Ready-Mix Concrete Measure, cut, and assemble in accordance to the specifications provided Ability to read and interpret blueprints needed for concrete forms Assist other carpenters with the assembly of framework Prepare layouts of forms from drawings that are provided Expereince in concrete finishing, sacking and pouring is considered an asset Qualifications Must have ability to travel to multiple worksite locations Journeyman to Red Seal Certified Experience preferably with formwork and on commercial or industrial projects.
