WorleyCord Energy Services, a subsidiary of WorleyCord Ltd., is seeking: Journeyperson & Apprentice Insulators

To work at our IPL PROJECT in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

• SALARY :From $26.67 - $44.45 per hour

• BENEFITS: 4% Pension & 4% RRSP + CLAC Benefits :

• OVERTIME : After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week

• START DATE :ASAP

• SCHEDULE :9/80

• HOURS PER DAY :10 hours per day

• PAY SCHEDULE :Weekly Pay (Friday)

• SHIFT :Dayshift

• DURATION : Ongoing

Requirements :

• Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Insulating ticket from a recognized provincial training authority OR proof of hours
• Must have experience working at heights
• Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
• Previous modular experience is an asset
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities :

• Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g. calcium silicate, foam glass, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass) on all types of industrial equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, piping)
• Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine insulation requirements
• Measure, cut, fit, and install insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimension
• Previous industrial construction experience

Salary : Up to $42.21 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fort Saskatchewan, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience :

• Industrial Insulator: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• proof or hours or Insulator ticket (required)
