This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position.This position will operate from our Quarries processing facility at Duke Point and will serve as the primary liaison between our Sales and Quarries departments. The role entails various office tasks such as invoicing, order processing, quoting, and order placement. These functions include order confirmation, internal invoicing, and customer service, third party purchase orders, custom product pricing, preparing shipping documentation and general sales support. Other duties relevant to the position shall be assigned as required.Job DutiesConfirm internal purchase orders.Prepare internal invoices for inter-company billing.Prepare third-party supplier purchase orders.Provide pricing and lead time estimates to Sales Team for custom pieces.Work with the Logistics Coordinator to arrange delivery of products to customers.Work with the Logistics Coordinator to prepare all documentation relating to cross-border shipments.Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service.Administration of custom purchase order tracking sheet.Provide administrative assistance to the VP of Sales, Operations Manager, and Sales Representatives as required.Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management, executives, and visitors at all times.Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.Requirements1-3 years of relevant experience required.Forklift experience is advantageous.Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.Previous experience in retail sales with a focus on exceptional customer service preferred.Proficient in driving sales to meet or exceed set objectives.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.A motivated and innovative team player.Computer literate, proficient in basic programs like Windows and Outlook.Thorough understanding of retail sales principles, methods, and techniques.Skilled in identifying and resolving problems and objections.Able to establish and nurture long-term customer relationships.Exceptional verbal communication and presentation abilities.Excellent listening and written communication skills.Self-driven, with a high level of enthusiasm and energy.Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.Willingness to occasionally travel and participate in sales events or exhibitions.Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.SummationThank you for considering a career opportunity with The Hazelwood Group.
