Service Supervisor Career Opportunity

Dufresne Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a Service Supervisor for our Kenora store located at 1077 Railway Street.

As a Service Supervisor you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Company as an industry leader in customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for allocation of service expenses and documentation for service customers and vendors while working ethically and modeling the company’s core values.

As the Service Supervisor, you will : Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Communicate with customers by following company’s resolution process: Process Extended Warranty claims and recoveries

Provide part Coordination (ordering, receiving and invoice reconciliation)

Manage and track vendor returns, recoveries and charge backs

Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules

Ensure that the levels of support match or exceed field and customer requirements

Consistently offer feedback and recommendations regarding customer service or product issues

Inspect to assess if product can be repaired or must be replaced

Answer customers questions during in-home inspections

Document and complete service reports

Assess and manage damaged goods

Prepare and schedule Manifest Transfers

Assist drivers daily on inflow of stock, manage and reorder transportation supplies.

Process Vendor Return Claims

High School Diploma with 1-2 years customer service experience preferred

Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs

Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette with ability to negotiate tactfully and act with diplomacy and respect

Ability maintain composure and works well under pressure/stress

Well organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks

Ability to work independently

Effective decision making and problem solving skills

Customer focused

Valid Class 5 Driver’s license with clean Driver’s abstract

This position requires patience and strict attention to detail

Interest and aptitude for account reconciliation.
