PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnosing and repairing district buses and automotive equipment.Responsible for performing and assisting in the maintenance and repairs of all vehicles.Perform all required inspections of all types of vehicles.Complete and submit all paperwork.Promote high standard of safety and good housekeeping methods in all work connected areas.Assist in the training of garage employees.Obey all traffic laws and District Policy.Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses and complete proper paperwork.Report all accidents and complete required reports.Keep and maintain assigned schedule.Properly document all mechanical and safety problems pertaining to district equipment as found.A working knowledge of any additional equipment necessary to properly perform all duties.Perform all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month year. Salary and work year to be according to the current schedule. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Administrative Personnel.
