Robert Half is seeking an HRIS Specialist for a REMOTE CONTRACT position based in the Kitchener Waterloo region. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), specifically Ceridian Dayforce. This role ensures the efficient operation of HR systems and supports the HR department in optimizing processes through the effective use of technology. The HRIS Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure data integrity, system efficiency, and the overall enhancement of HRIS functionality.Key Responsibilities:-Manage and maintain Ceridian Dayforce HRIS, including system configuration, security, and user access.-Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.-Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.-Provide technical support and training to HR staff and other end-users.-Develop and maintain user guides and training materials.-Act as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues.-Ensure the integrity and security of HR data within the system.-Perform regular data audits and validation.-Manage data imports and exports as required.-Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes through system enhancements.-Participate in the development and implementation of new HRIS modules and functionalities.-Collaborate with HR and IT departments to integrate HRIS with other business systems.-Develop and generate reports and dashboards to meet the needs of HR and management.-Analyze HR data and provide insights to support decision-making.-Ensure compliance with reporting requirements.-Diploma in Human Resources, Information Technology, other related field, or equivalent experience required.-Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HR Systems Administrator, with proficiency in Dayforce/Ceridian is required-Proven experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting HR systems.-Strong understanding of HR processes, workflows, and best practices.-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.-Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.-Experience in project management and collaborating across functional teams.-Certification in Dayforce/Ceridian or other relevant HR systems is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
