We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll / Benefits Administrator to join our team.

The Payroll/Benefits Administrator will be responsible for accurately processing of bi-weekly payroll and responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with all Federal Regulations and Company policies.

Payroll Administrator Responsibilities: - Verify timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness - Calculate and audit wages, deductions, and overtime based on employee hours and company policies - Prepare and distribute pay statements or direct deposits to employees on a timely basis - Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant payroll data - Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors in a timely manner - Generate payroll reports for management review and audit purposes - Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee information is maintained in the payroll system - Assist with year-end payroll activities such as T4 preparation and reporting

Benefits Responsibilities: - Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives - Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS system. - Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies - Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and provide guidance on available options

Qualifications: - Post Secondary education in Human Resources / Business Administration

Skills: - Proficiency in Ceridian HRIS system

  • Familiarity with employee relations practices and procedures - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record keeping - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
