Reporting to the Manager or delegate, inspects, tests, maintains, and performs difficult repairs on biomedical and other equipment pertaining to designated areas of the hospital such as Radiology, Respiratory, Anaesthesia, and the Operating Room. Performs other related functions such as carrying out acceptance tests for new biomedical equipment, modifying equipment to improve performance and safety, and providing technical advice to equipment users. QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Graduation from a recognized program in Biomedical Engineering Technology required, however an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.Valid Class 5 vehicle license.
