Position :Corporate Security Guard
Location :North York, ON
Status :Full Time
Shift :Must be available all shifts
Pay Rate :$19.39/hr
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Perform access control provision duties, issue access badges, program badges, verify visitors that come onto the site. Secure all doors and ensure all doors are locked including laboratories and other key areas. Traffic enforcement and parking lot enforcement, issue parking tickets for policy violations. Trespasser deterrence using diplomacy. Emergency medical and non medical response including working with paramedics during medical emergencies. Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur. Monitor control rooms and temperature rooms ensuring each location is at the right temperature. Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility including checking multiple buildings, fence perimeter etc.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following prior to an interview :
- Valid Ontario Security Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- G or G2 Class Drivers Licence
- Minimum 1 year of security experience in a corporate or pharmaceutical setting is required.
