Robert's Farm Equipment is currently seeking a Service Writer / Administrator at our Mount Forest, ON location!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Creates and maintains work orders and submits to manager for approval

  2. Closes work orders once customer payments have been processed

  3. Contacts customers in regards to bill payments and invoicing and organizes payment process

  4. Organizes trucking of equipment

  5. Manages schedules for service technicians to ensure adequate time for each work order

  6. Troubleshoots computer and cell phone technical issues for employees and technicians

  7. Organizes scheduled maintenance for service vehicles

  8. Submits warranty claims to Warranty Administrator with all proper paperwork and attachments

  9. Submits invoices and receipts to Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy in compensation

  10. Verifies and adjusts technician time scans and submits to the payroll department

  11. Tracks parts and equipment inventory; updates sold equipment list for follow ups

  12. Prepares traffic sheets for drivers to ensure proper equipment is being trucked

  13. Discusses job status with technicians to determine approximate completion of repairs and parts required

  14. Monitors technician uniform inventory and ensures correct number of coveralls have been supplied for the week

Essential Skills and Abilities

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills

  2. Ability to read and match part numbers, pricing, and dates with high numerical accuracy

  3. Ability to read and understand service contracts

  4. Strong aptitude for numbers and strong analytical skills

  5. Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task

  6. Strong attention to detail

  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data

  8. Demonstrates a professional demeanor, respect and commitment to service excellence

  9. Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with other employees as part of a team Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $18.00-$20.00 per hour
