Kelly is seeking a permanent Property Underwriter for our client, a leading insurance provider dedicated to delivering top-notch service and innovative solutions. The position is based in Dutton, ON , conveniently located 35 minutes from London and 30 minutes from Ridgetown. Key Responsibilities: Reviews, analyzes, and assesses residential and farm risk material according to underwriting guidelines and Company standards Provides agents with exception approvals for risks that may not fit Provides information to agents, including answering questions and providing industry knowledge Orders and coordinates risk inspections and conducts associated follow ups as required Makes recommendations and supports initiatives by focusing on improving departmental processes, procedures, and practices Continues to learn and develop skills and stays current in industry knowledge Completes all other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills Required: Postsecondary in Business, Finance or Insurance, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in property underwriting Maintains a positive working relationship and liaison with all business partners Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualification: Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, or working towards such designation an asset Compensation: Salary $67,000-$87,000 per year (based on experience) Competitive benefits package A supportive and collaborative work environment Potential for remote Why Kelly®?
