Novarc Technologies is looking for a savvy experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team and support the development of our Sales and Marketing team.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Research and gather relevant information about fabrication shops, including their current welding practices and potential needs for automation.
  • Engage with leads in a professional and persuasive manner, highlighting the benefits and advantages of robotic welding solutions for their specific requirements.
  • Use databases and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find and connect with target prospects.
  • Organize and maintain a CRM database of prospects and clients;
  • Qualify leads by assessing their level of interest, budget, and readiness to adopt robotic welding technology.
  • Document all interactions and updates in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date lead information for the sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to share insights, provide feedback on lead quality, and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience :

  • Minimum 4 years of Business development experience
  • 4+ years of Cold calling experience
  • Strong B2B sales background with minimum of 4 years experience in B2B
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with fabrication shops and welding processes is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of robotic welders and automation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
  • Availability to travel ( not more than 10%).

Collaboration and Teamwork :

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their requirements and provide them with warm leads that have a high potential for conversion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, strategies, and insights on lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions to optimize lead generation and sales processes.

Success Criteria :

  • Improve the conversion rate of Marketing Qualified Leads to Deals
  • Improve the revenue generated through marketing activities.

Compensation details :Base salary CAD$50 000 - CAD$60 000 + variable salary CAD$20 000 - CAD$40 000
