Wiebe Medical Centre is a Primary Care and Specialty Service clinic serving the community and surrounding area of Winkler. Winkler is located in the rapidly growing area Southern Manitoba. Our comprehensive medical team includes more than 30 family physicians and over 10 surgical specialists. Including general surgeons/orthopedic surgeons/obstetricians’ gynecologists, nurse practitioner(s), and physician assistant(s). Our clinic is part of a provincial My Health Team with provides additional patient care support in mental health, pharmacy, dietician services, kinesiologist, respiratory technician, chronic disease management and social work. Your practice can include: Everything currently listed and the following Emergency Special Care Unit Addictions Medicine Family Practice Anesthesia As mentioned your practice can include the above, however our clinic is looking for family physicians who are wanting to have a mainly primary care practice. Our clinic provides a fully supported practice using InPut Health EMR providing patient services like online appointment booking, patient portal and electronic patient communication. Qualifications Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required Proficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job. Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums. Good work and attendance record. Conditions of Employment Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, an all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
