The Cafeteria Manager is responsible for offering an exciting and savory menu, while being extremely mindful of costs and expenses. Responsibilities include striving towards maximum customer satisfaction by supervising the Food Service Staff and ensuring the adherence to the standards expected by Future Electronics. Responsibilities Supervise Administrative, Kitchen and Service staff Work closely with the Chef’s to determine which staff and supplies will be required Compile serving schedules and assist with co-ordination of food & beverage services during functions Assist with dealing with customer inquiries/issues Train, motivate and supervise staff to ensure performance and team spirit Manage expenses, minimize unknown losses and shrink while maximizing profitability Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting for food and beverage department Commit to notion of a “green” kitchen and dining room, actively participate in organizational initiatives and seek out opportunities to reduce, reuse and recycle; be cognizant of and compliant with ISO 14001 and related requirements and standards Qualifications and Experience A certificate/diploma/degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent A minimum of 5 years full-time senior experience working within a food and beverage department Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Fluently bilingual, written and spoken English and French Competencies (Skills & Behaviors) Must possess very high motivational skills and the ability to lead the team with very little supervision Displays a positive attitude, maintains enthusiasm and celebrates success A proven ability to be comfortable with change and to stay focused dealing with many interruptions Why join us At Future Electronics, we mean it when we say we care about our employees.
