Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Perform various carpentry tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the project.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, stairs, and molding.
• Repair or replace damaged or defective parts.
• Inspect work to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, and plumbers to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction or restoration industry.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
• Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Attention to detail and precision in executing tasks.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Note: Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines is a plus.

Salary : $23.00-$35.00 per hour
