Ensuring project schedules and client approved budgets are managed and met Preparing detailed Cost, Time & Resource estimates based on client supplied work scopes Ensure design, analysis and specifications are in accordance with applicable codes, governing statutory regulations, Wood procedures, installation specific design philosophies and meet project objectives and industry best practice Adhering to all HSEQ requirements within the Structural discipline in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems Originating and checking of documentation including but not limited to drawings and reports Travelling as required for surveys and construction support Carry out assigned structural design work as part of a multi-discipline project team Produce 2D structural drawings from reference 3D models using AutoCad Coordinate and work with project team members, including coordination with other discipline Preparing material take-offs Managing time and tasks within allotted schedule and budgets Performing other discipline duties as requested Diploma in Structural Engineering Design and Drafting Technology Relevant work experience, including10+ years of experience in related industry Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office tools – Word / Excel / PowerPoint to advanced template creation and document/data management level would be considered an asset Knowledge/experience using AutoCAD and PDMS Excellent organizational, technical, writing, communication, and computer skills Advanced knowledge and proven experience with modeling and drafting Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks Effective communication skills Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients (excellent client facing and communication skills - Seller-Doer) Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
