At Corteva, you will help us grow what’s next.What You’ll Do: Train employees on our Learning Management System platform – GROW-U as well as on our CAMS procedures.Determine training needs and requirements for the location on the following topics: Safety, Health & Environment, Continuous Improvement,Management System, and Process Work Instructions.Credibly lead training, communication and education efforts, with enthusiasm, and energy.Develop and implement hands-on, engaging training programs for employees on a variety of safety subjects along with effectiveness evaluation methods and auditing processes.Perform related administrative duties, including taking safety meeting minutes, writing JSAs & SOPs & also trak employee training requirements.Ensure the completeness and maintenance of all records, documents, or reports related to all assigned training.Assist with preparation of reports, graphs, and presentation materials to communicate key safety statistics.Welcome and onboard new employees and contractors to ensure a thorough understanding of Corteva policies and procedures.Conduct site tours for interviewing or onboarding employees.Reiterate and role model the importance of Corteva’s Values and Living Safely.Act as liaison with Contract Labor Agencies regarding training requirements – communicate with and ensure contract agencies are training their employees on the required policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: You have your High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. What Skills You Need: Minimum of 2-4 years on-the-job or related technical training or agricultural manufacturing experience.Equivalent relevant experience and education will be considered.Valid Driver’s LicenseDemonstrated skills in training, coaching, and leading others in a group setting.Ability to influence without direct authority.Creativity is needed to keep materials interesting and fresh.Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into easily understood training content.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal communication, and team facilitation skills to effectively interact with all levels of employeesAdvance computer skills, specifically versed in Microsoft Office Suites; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Willing and able to work overtime during peak seasonsWilling and able to conduct training sessions on different shifts, if neededExperience in training and/or facilitating trainingProven ability to train effectively and convey detailed information to employeesAbility to support and work with cross-functional teamsHigh attention to detail is needed to maintain awareness of existing and proposed changes to policies, procedures and regulations.High organizational skills.
