Production Associate / Material Handler

BE Power Equipment is a leading manufacturer of pressure washers, air compressors, generators and water pumps serving industrial markets in over 30 countries. Headquartered in Abbotsford, BC, our third generation, family-owned business is focused on designing quality products and delivering exceptional service. We are looking for seasonal Production Associates and Material Handlers to join our team for a 6-month term. We have positions available on both day and afternoon shifts. Day shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Afternoon shift runs Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am. If you are a hardworking, mechanically inclined person, who is goal orientated with a positive attitude, this might be the position for you! What you’ll do: Build, assemble, test and package power equipment. Use power tools and equipment in a safe and professional manner. Meet individual and production deadlines daily. Keep your work area clean and presentable. Follow company safety and quality guidelines. Requirements Who you are: You have previous warehouse or production experience. You have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with engines is an asset. You are able to learn and apply new skills quickly. You are hardworking, physically fit, energetic and motivated. You are able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular and repetitive basis. You can speak and write fluently in the English language. You are reliable and show up to work when scheduled. To you, details matter! Other details: You have reliable transportation to and from the workplace. You are available to work overtime occasionally. You have and are able to wear steel toe safety boots daily. You are legally able to work in Canada.
