Production Manager

Position Overview: As the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our manufacturing team to produce prefabricated metal enclosures of exceptional quality. Your expertise in metal fabrication and welding, coupled with your strong leadership skills, will drive our production processes forward, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of prefabricated metal enclosures. Implement and maintain production schedules, optimizing workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Monitor quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process, adhering to industry standards and company specifications. Oversee inventory management, including raw materials and finished goods, to support production demands and minimize waste. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to coordinate project requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of workplace safety. Qualifications: Red Seal or journeyman certification in metal fabrication or welding is required. Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metal fabrication industry. In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, welding, and assembly techniques. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
