Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance department. This is a high volume, fast paced position with a medium sized company in the transportation industry.

  • Duties include :_

Verify invoices for accuracy & reconcile supplier statements

Match, batch and code invoices

Data entry of accounts payable into finance software

Responsible for EFT/cheque runs as needed

Other miscellaneous duties related to the Finance department as assigned

  • Qualifications :_

Accounts payable experience preferred

Excellent organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and able to identify errors

Knowledge of Dynamics GP a definite asset

Knowledge of accounting procedures

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both in a team and independently with mínimal supervision

Experience in the transportation industry is considered an asset

  • Hours :_

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience :

  • Accounts Payable: 1 year (preferred)
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP: 1 year (preferred)
