Project Coordinator (Vancouver) We are hiring an experienced Project Coordinator, who will be responsible for assisting in management of a variety of commercial construction projects, reporting to the Project Manager. Our client is a well reputed General Contracting firm with projects in Vancouver and Lower Mainland Region. This position is based in their corporate office in Surrey; however, the client offers a blend of remote and in-office options. Qualifications: Preferable Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in a construction or industry-related program Industry Experience - 2-5 years Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Canadian Citizenship with minimum 2 years construction experience in Canada Responsibilities: Project Manager support - provide support to multiple project managers and other colleagues Project Startup - issuing contracts, requesting insurance and bonds, WCB notices Project Documentation - using Timberline and Microsoft software to manage labour, materials, and equipment, cost coding, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, change orders Subtrade/Supplier Management - ability to manage construction subtrades and suppliers Client Interface - attending meetings with project manager, architects, consultants, and clients What is in it for you: Competitive Pay - Salary commensurate with experience Benefit Plan - Robust benefit plan for you and your family that is above industry standard.
