Schneider Electric is seeking a Technical Communicator to join our dynamic Technical Communications team. The successful candidate will provide world-class user documentation for advanced-technology hardware and software systems. The candidate will play a vital role in conveying how our customers can get the most value out of our products. What will you do? Gather and interpret technical information from multiple sources Create explanatory 2D graphics using specific design software Produce and edit installation guides and user manuals for new and existing products Maintain and update a body of existing product documentation Create and maintain HTML files for help systems and on-line documentation Coordinate and collaborate with product teams to deliver content that aligns with business needs and timing What skills and capabilities will make you successful? Knowledge of the electrical power industry and/or industrial/utility software systems A technical diploma or degree, or significant equivalent experience Familiarity with electronics engineering and/or computer science practices A portfolio demonstrating technical illustration and technical writing experience What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level.
