We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, offering engineering, and manufacturing technical assistance, preparing quotes, and successfully delivering projects from start to finish. To excel in this position, you should have a background in engineering manufacturing heavy equipment. We are looking for a practical and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineer with experience in successfully executing specialty projects. You should enjoy multitasking, problem-solving, and have firsthand experience in machining and fabrication environments. At Waycon, we value a diversified team, and it would not be unusual for our mechanical engineers to get involved in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: ·        Maintain and build client relationships ·        Review requests for quotations and prepare accurate quotes ·        Design and develop equipment and systems ·        Prepare drawings and specifications ·        Plan and deliver projects on time and within budget ·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams ·        Manage procurement and budget ·        Attend site visits and meetings as required ·        Perform any other assigned duties as necessary Job Requirements: ·        Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks ·        Degree in Mechanical Engineering, P. Eng., or Mechanical Technologist ·        Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, equipment design, and manufacturing ·        Experience in designing and prototyping ·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and project management ·        Exposure to various manufacturing processes including fabrication and CNC machining ·        Strong commitment to workmanship, quality, and safety standards ·        Excellent prioritization, planning, and execution skills ·        Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities ·        Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Join our team at Waycon Manufacturing and be a part of our innovative and dynamic work environment.
