Looking for an experienced cook to join our team in Aldergrove.
Institutional/homestyle Style cooking - comfort food. Working along side a team of volunteers to produce approximately 250 meals per day. Preps and prepares daily meals, ordering and picking up of donated food. Creating soups and meals according to daily menu and based on using recovery foods and menu. Training of volunteers and mentoring youth to learn new food skills.
Must be flexible and adaptable along with creative cooking. Provides positive leadership with volunteers and students.
Must have good knife skills and flexible and creative.
Daytime shift Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (some weekends or evenings for special occasions)
This is NOT A LINE COOK position.
Salary : $20.00-$26.00 per hour
