The position in a nutshell :

• Overseeing all aspects of IT projects using initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing processes;
• Planning tasks, resource requirements, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are completed within budget guidelines and maintaining best practices;
• At ease working with clients and technical staff while under the leadership of our CTO;
• Managing the team of techs and collaborating with the helpdesk manager for proper resource allocation;
• Documenting and reporting on the progress of the IT projects and ensuring that deliverables are met;
• Follow-up on all the assigned items and ensure completion in a timely manner and at the required level of quality;
• Manage project tickets according to service level agreement (SLA);
• Inspect projects for quality assurance;
• Working hybrid onsite and remote when needed.

Key skills and characteristics include :

• 3-5 years of experience in network and infrastructure operations with analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
• Bilingualism in French and English (verbal and written);
• Knowledge of networking, workstation, and server setup and administration, firewalls (an asset);
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills both in verbal and written;
• Ability to make decisions proactively in a fast-paced and changing environment and know-how to set priorities based on the objectives to be achieved;
• Decision-making and leadership skills, time management, risk management skills;
• Experience managing cloud migration projects with MS Exchange or Azure (an asset);
• Experience using KPIs and dashboards to monitor project execution.

Key certifications and experience include :

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience as a system and network administrator;
• PMP certification is an asset;
• Any related IT certification will be an asset: CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA+, ITIL, etc.

Salary : $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
