Customer Service Representative – 12-18 Month Contract

Pertinent Information: 12-18 month contract covering a maternity leave. Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Work from home Mondays and Fridays once fully trained – in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is a customer service role within an industrial/manufacturing setting, so technical ability is essential for the role. Full details to be provided at time of interview.Wage: $20-22/hr depending on experience.Location: Windsor, ON.Job DescriptionReporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the CSR provides order assistance and support to customers, District Managers, Applications and Inside Sales ad Accounting.Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:Handling direct customer contact by phone and email, including customer order contracts, quotations and referralsSales order expeditingCommunicating pertinent order, product and policy information to internal partners and end usersMaintaining general awareness of production and other factors affecting scheduling and delivery of ordersProcessing customer orders and checking for accuracy, availability and assigning schedule dates to ordersReviewing and coordinating implementation of changes and updates to sales ordersHandling serial number inquiriesCompleting / assisting with shipping paperwork and ship confirmationsAssisting as a backup for Inside Sales Applications on basic inquiriesOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma requiredMinimum two (2) years customer service or sales experience in a technical area of a companyMust be customer focused and know about internal and external customer relationshipsMust be able to maintain accurate recordsMust have good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasksProficient with MS Office – Outlook, Teams, Word, ExcelJD Edwards experience a definite asset
