Whether it's a new technology, fixing an inefficient process or just learning how things are done on another team, we are looking forward to seeing your creativity in practice.If you love writing quality code to solve real customer problems, then we want to talk to you.We're looking for someone who:Cares about what they do and is proactive and self-directedHas a great attention to detail in identifying issues and opportunities ahead of timeIs able to take ownership of a task up and down the stack from inception to completionCollaborates as a great team player to iterate on solutions that delight our customersStrives for open and honest communication with respect for othersIs passionate about documenting your knowledge and work, and has a desire to share what you learn with the rest of the teamAs a senior software developer on the Vision One team in your day-to-day you will:Build and architect rich AWS cloud Native applicationsWork with your squad of 5-7 in short sprints or kanban to achieve regular business and customer outcomesUse DevOps principals to deliver incremental improvements or features to production multiple times a dayOwn and operate your team's services, respond to business-hours incidents, and participate in blameless post-incident reviewsWrite non-application code, such as infrastructure as code, unit tests, metrics, monitoring, alarms etc.Take time for learning and continuous improvement to build your skills and pursue interests not directly related to current work tasksLook for opportunities to share your knowledge with other team members and the wider organizationKey qualifications:Demonstrated experience with complex application development including debugging, analysis, and optimizationProven track record of working on complex problems without clear solutions, and proactively driving the development and delivery of business valueWillingness to learn new tools and technologies and ability to get up to speed quicklyCapable of understanding existing designs and technology choices for your team's services and suggesting appropriate adjustments when necessary.Skilled at writing maintainable code and building maintainable services (i.e. automated tests, debuggable code, complete documentation)Relevant skills & experience:Experience with AWS Cloud native application development, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.Knowledge of Serverless concepts and AWS Services (S3, CloudFront, Cognito,  etc.) or equivalent on other cloud providersExperience with microservice architectures, REST API development and event-driven architecturesExperience with automated Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions or AWS CDKGreat scripting skills and a preference for automation over manual toilKnowledge or experience developing secure code and/or working in a security space.Programming experience with Java or JavaScript and other modern programming languages (Python, Golang) Experience with Java Enterprise SaaS including Database related skills (SQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.)Don’t meet every single requirement?
