Pork Production Technician

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment :

• Hog and pig farming

• Odours Work setting :

• Rural area

• Handling animals

• Monitoring animal health

• Processing pig litters

• Weaning

• Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs

• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed

• Recognize and treat certain livestock health problems

• Maintain work records and logs

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
