(“Triton”) is seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic Intermediate Environmental Professional - Soils and Water    to join a well-established team of environmental professionals in our Vancouver office. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the technical components of soil and water related field programs and providing support to project managers . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Contributing expertise to multi-disciplinary project. Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors, and sub-contractors . Leading field teams to ensure the quality, cost, and timeliness of deliverables. Providing mentorship and training for our junior environmental professionals. Ensuring clients’ and Triton’s safety standards are maintained or exceeded Working collaboratively within Triton’s corporate culture. This role is anticipated to be a mixture of field and office work, with the proportions of each varying throughout the year. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Relevant degree or diploma . 5+ years of relevant work experience in BC. Holder of or immediately eligible for a relevant professional designation (e.g., PAg). Demonstrated ability to work with multiple projects at once, under deadline pressure. Sound decision-making, takes initiative, team-player. Experience using ESDat software. Experience with other software used in contaminated sites applications. Advanced expertise with managing large datasets. Experience with soil, groundwater and surface water sampling using a variety of equipment Experience with soil characterization for disposal to support construction projects within BC or on federal land in BC. Familiarity and experience with BC CSR, particularly Protocol 19 requirements. Familiarity and experience with BC CSR submissions related to construction scopes (e.g., Notice of Independent Remediation). Experience and understanding of surface water, groundwater, and soil quality standards and guidelines (i.e., BC Water Quality Guidelines, CCME guidelines for surface water, soil, sediment, groundwater, BC CSR standards). Experience conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments. Expertise with database software. Experience with hydrological modelling. Experience with environmental monitoring on construction sites is considered an asset. Valid driver's license from a Canadian province or Territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting.
