Job Summary

The purpose of the Data Management Coordinator is to support multiple divisions and business channels through the creation and maintenance of departmental master data records. The Data Management Coordinator will be responsible for enforcing internal processes and data quality standards to ensure accuracy in the data sets that are maintained. The correct execution of this role will help other departments succeed by ensuring the data required for Purchase Order Management, Sales Order Management, Contract Management, Price Management, and Sales/Service Management are accurate and current.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years working in a similar position is required.
  • 3-5 years of SAP experience is required. Certification in SAP is preferred.
  • 2+ years using Salesforce is an asset.
  • Previous experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in a sales environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, & Access).
  • Must be able to work with complex customer structures and multi-level pricing tools.
  • Post-secondary education in Information Systems Management or similar field is an asset.

Job Duties

  • Primarily responsible for maintaining the health and integrity of relevant data sets within the organization.
  • Create, update, and maintain master data records for Customer Master, Material Master, Pricing Master, and Vendor Master.
  • Ensures all data sets and relationships among customers, materials, pricing, and vendors are maintained and cohesive throughout all divisions in all systems.
  • Communicate clearly with internal team members to enforce master data standards, and notification of when requests have been completed.
  • Responsible for managing an average of 45 daily requests across the organization that may be related to product categories and business channels.
  • Performing data requests in a timely manner. Carrying out requests can range from 5-45 minutes each with an average of 15 minutes per request. Expected response time is 2 hours within receiving the request. The incumbent must strive for a one-time resolution to each request.
  • Adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring data is adequately backed up.
