We are currently hiring in the following areas: Marathon, Nipigon, Terrace Bay, Schreiber, Red Rock, Dorion, Hurkett, Manitouwadge SOUTHLAND is currently offering a hiring bonus up to $3,000 (location dependent) for all new School Bus Drivers! To be eligible for this bonus as a Spare Driver, you must be available a minimum of 3 shifts per week or 2 weeks per month. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and customer service and will possess superior oral and written communication skills. Routes fall between the hours of 6:30 am - 9:30 am in the morning and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the afternoon. Requirements Valid Class B driver's license preferred (training provided to upgrade from a class G) 3-year driver's abstract with safe driving record Undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination, drug and alcohol testing, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance and reference checks
