Electrical Technician Can-Am On-Road

We are looking for a Can-Am On-Road Electrical Technician. As a member of the engineering team and reporting to a BRP Chief Designer, your main mandate will be to study, design and develop various electrical and mechatronic systems for a recreational vehicle. You'll have the chance to be directly involved in the company's success through innovation and continuous improvement of its products. You'll be part of a dynamic and motivated team. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Working with the designers and engineers to design new parts, systems and vehicles Providing support for prototype vehicle assembly and diagnostics in the shop Closely monitoring the development of prototype parts under your responsibility Playing a leadership role in component architecture and assembly methods Coordinating and participating in the creation of wiring diagrams, component lists and drawings and their on-time release Analyzing technical problems and identifying and suggesting appropriate solutions Collaborating with and supporting other departments (Service, Production, etc.) Supporting production in BRP’s various plants YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: You have a DEC (college diploma) in electrical or electrotechnical engineering You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience You have knowledge and skills in electrotechnical engineering, electromechanics, electrical circuit design and hard wired logic You are independent and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility You are familiar with Capital, SEE Electrical Expert and Excel You have experience using CATIA, INCA and Mentor Graphics software (an asset) You are at ease in an environment where technical solutions are not known and processes have yet to be developed You are a great collaborator and exceptional team player ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
