Randstad Canada is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate for one of our renowned clients in the document storage field. Are you an energetic organized worker who is looking for a reliable, predictable, and rewarding job We are hiring for the following shift: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Mondays to Fridays This position pays $16.50/hr. Advantages - Working in a neat and organized facility - Ability to develop job skills and become familiar with warehouse storage principles - Weekly pay (Thursdays and Fridays) - Opt in medical and dental benefits from day one Responsibilities - Moving heavy boxes of documents weighing 30 - 50 lbs - Palletizing boxes - Order picking - Using an RF scanner - Putting documents through scanners - Entering in data as needed - Moving, arranging, lifting and loading of storage boxes, bins and totes and repetitively - Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes Qualifications - Must be comfortable lifting 30 - 50 lbs through out each shift - Must have the able to work in a walking and standing position for long periods of time - Must be able and willing to complete a criminal background check and reliability clearance - Must be able to read and write in English - Must maintain consistent high frequency of keystrokes (10,000 kph), with 100% accuracy confirmed by ‘double key’ verification Summary Eligible candidates must be comfortable to have a criminal background check completed and may need to complete additional security clearances for certain projects.
