Reporting Relationship: Manager of 8 East & WestHourly Rate Range:$34.24 - 49.02Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work rotating shifts days, nights, evenings and weekendsLocation: Wilson site Position Responsibilities: RN responsibilities for general medicine, geriatric, ALC, palliative inpatients, geriatrics,neurology, medicine, and hip fracture patients. Care planning and coordination of care with various team members. Assessment of pain management. Utilization of computerized systems for patient care documentation. Participation in project teams or Hospital committees as required. Resource/team leader responsibilities. Preceptorship of nursing students. Qualifications: Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current BCLS certification or demonstrated competency. 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience perferred. Basic computer skills. Good problem solving skills. Willingness to rotate to other departments as required. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with amultidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors Excellent organizational skills and problem solving skills. Demonstrated patient assessment skills.Related patient assessment course is preferred. Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. Why Humber? Why Now?
