CMT Technician

Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.   Position : CMT Technician Location: Trenton, ON Pay Rate: $40 per hour  Industry: Aerospace / Maintenance & Repairs / AME-M Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent   Roles & Responsibilities : Conduct inspections and test to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards and identify any irregularities Ensure all repairs and inspection is performed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with the guidelines Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance to guarantee accurate and reliable testing outcomes Provide proper training and guidance to junior technicians  Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment Other tasks as assigned    Qualifications & Experience: Post Secondary Education or equivalent in Aerospace Technology or related field 4+ years of proven experience as a CMT Technician in the Aerospace or manufacturing industry Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or other applicable governing body)/ Military course or equivalent  Valid AME-M license/ DND equivalent certification  Currently hold or able to get Controlled Goods Program Clearance In depth knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes Good computer and MS Office skills  Strong communication skills – both written and verbal   Note: We thank all candidates for their time.
