Pipe Yard Labourer - Sexsmith / Grande Prairie

Oculus Transport in Sexsmith, AB is currently looking for a Yard Labourer to work in our Pipeyard. This position works closely with our Loader Operators, Drivers and other staff members and is responsible for the overall appearance and maintenance of the Pipeyard.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for overall maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the Pipeyard.
• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with customers, and third-party operators.
• Support the loader operator with unloading and loading tasks.
• Responsible for racking and tallying pipe accurately and efficiently.
• Support drivers by assisting with load securement, ensuring all loads are compliant, and safe for transport.
• Demonstrate a high level of organization and prioritize tasks by importance, effectively communicating any problems or issues with the yard to the OCTG Operations Manager.
• Available to work on-call shifts.
• Must be physically fit.
• Maintain training requirements and ensure compliance.
• Assist in the shop or wash bay as required.
