Pinchin is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Hazardous Materials team in our Richmond Office.The Project Coordinator will provide reliable, timely, and professional support to Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Operation Managers, assisting with the day-to-day coordination and execution of project related activities. You will work closely with senior industry professionals to enhance your knowledge and help you fulfill your career aspirations.A Day in the life of a Project Coordinator at Pinchin: Conduct hazardous building material assessments of buildings for regulatory compliance, renovation and/or demolition purposesCoordinate field work (assessments, field reviews, etc.) with client-designated points of contactMaintain, coordinate and monitor the hazardous materials group activitiesAssist with staff resourcing and planningAssist the management team with project task (schedules, document and data management, tracking, deadlines etc.) Prepare proposals for review by the Project ManagerPrepare technical reportsAssist with accounts receivables and invoicingCommunicate with clients and employeesCreate and distribute project-related correspondenceAttend meetings with managers and clients to review projects and assist with estimating project costs and maintaining meeting minutesWhat you bring to the Pinchin team:Post-secondary education in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, Health & Safety, Construction, Project Management or similarTwo to three years of experience in the consulting / construction industry or related fieldExperience conducting complex hazardous building materials assessment of various types of buildings such as schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, residential apartments and industrial sites an assetKnowledge of building construction and / or demolition methods an assetProficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, time management skills and attention to detail requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing needs, prioritize client deliverables and meet required deadlines, in a fast-paced environment Must be able to read, comprehend, and proof written reports and correspondenceInvolved in training and mentoring junior staffValid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle requiredAbility to travel throughout British ColumbiaAbility work outside of core business hours based on client needsWhat’s in it for you: Of course, we offer competitive salaries and great benefits, but what makes Pinchin stand out from the crowd?
