Your new Role:

As the Electrical Project Manager, your gig centers around Commercial and Residential Projects, spanning the $5 million to $20 million range. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include cultivating strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users. You will thoroughly review contracts to ensure clarity and compliance. You will manage the purchase of materials and equipment. You will be working closely with foremen, superintendents, and project coordinators to discuss labor requirements and staffing. You will develop and maintain project schedules and be present on construction sites as needed to oversee project progress. You will be reviewing project reports and creating project manuals. Analyzing completed projects during close-out to identify areas for improvement and strengths. Your role is critical in ensuring successful project execution and maintaining high standards within the electrical construction field. Bonus points if you’ve got Accubid estimating chops.

What you’ll need to Succeed:

To succeed as the Electrical Project Manager, you will have an educational background in one of the following: Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree, or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate OR have experience working in the field as an electrician. You will have 5+ years of experience in Electrical Project Management or coordination, Knowledge of managing projects in commercial or residential businesses is desired with a value above half a million. Experience with Fire Alarms and programs like Accubid & Bluebeam is considered to be an asset.
