At Intact Investment Management, your professional development is extremely important to us! We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist, Investment Reporting to join the team responsible for the reporting of our investments around the world.Location: Montreal (2020 Robert-Bourassa)About the roleUnder the supervision of the Manager, Investment Reporting and in collaboration with other team members, our candidate will support the investment teams by contributing to the delivery of external and internal financial information related to investments.Our candidate will participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes, and ensure robustness of internal controls.What you will do here:Perform financial close processes including system feeds, key internal controls, and validation of end results in a timely manner and with the highest level of quality.Participate in the production of external financial information related to investments including the financial statements of the Group and legal entities, Management reports and Canadian regulatory reporting.Participate in the production of internal reporting on investment results for multiple entities in different countries.Work closely with other Finance teams (FP&A and Capital) on the integration of our investments results in the global reporting.Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Continuously improve accounting and internal control processes through automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.What you bring to the table:CPA designation or successfully passed the CFE.2-3 years of relevant experience or experience in an audit firm.Ability to learn quickly.Independent and efficient, team player.Interested in and curious about investments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.#LI-HybridWhat we offerWorking here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
