Overall Responsibilities:Responsible for overall performance and operations of Woodstock facility. Ensure operationaltargets are met in an efficient and manner throughout all departments. Oversee staffing,development, and direction of the management team to drive the growth of production, revenueand the quality of goods produced in the facility. Build and maintain relationships withsuppliers, vendors, department managers to ensure the integration of strategic plans within theplant facilities. Accountabilities:-Operate the Woodstock facility to meet or exceed all local, Provincial and Federal regulatory requirements; attain the necessary quality environmental designations to meet or exceed customer expectations.-Responsible for refining and implementing health and safety policies.-Lead team to achieve annual business plan targets for Woodstock approved by AMTB'S Senior Leadership Team-Establish operating equipment and processes to deliver quality products to customers, on time.-Maintain all quality standards, designations, and requirements.-Attract, retain and motivate a leadership team and skilled workforce to support long term stability and growth-Oversee and make decisions on labor planning and production scheduling,-Directly responsible for WCM, Production and Maintenance teams within plant-Leads production meetings and update staff on production demands, quality statistics and safety concerns.-Fulfill all Health and Safety & Environmental responsibilities as identified in the HSE Management Standards, OHSAS 18001.-Ensure QMS conforms to the requirements identified in IATF 16949 and AMTB Process Map.Requirements-Bachelors degree-10 plus years automotive manufacturing experience.-Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement process-Role requires an individual with traits such as: Safety conscious, leadership, problem solver, decision making, sense of urgency, self-motivated, adaptability and team development.
