Payroll Clerk/Assistant

This is a temporary position starting ASAP with a possibility of extension. Do you have previous payroll experience ? Advantages - Competitive Compensation - Being part of a great company - Monday - Friday daytime hours - Great growth opportunity for the right fit Responsibilities • Prepare payroll for submissions • Prepare semi-monthly payroll for employees. • Manage any employee changes/updates. • Account Reconciliations – Prepare and Process Journal Entries • Prepare monthly remittances • Coordinate compensation increases per collective agreements or employee contracts. • Coordinate RRSP deductions per Collective Agreements. • Coordinate bonus related transactions. • Support any audit requests. • Prepare trip settlement sheet for each trip landed and distribute accordingly. • Maintain the employee information in ADP. • Ensure Record of Employment (ROE) are issued as requested from HR • Maintain year to date data excel files - some travel is required -- must have own vehicle Qualifications • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Strong knowledge of Excel • 1-3 years of relevant experience • ADP payroll software and/or SAP user knowledge is an asset • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written • Good problem solving skills Summary Does this sound like an opportunity that you “Fit” perfectly?
