Essential Functions :

  • Providing input into the development and implementation of the Health & Safety Management System, including the Emergency Management processes.
  • Maintaining and evaluating the Health & Safety Management System on a regular basis.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and supporting front-line staff for the Health & Safety Management System functionality.
  • Supporting and guiding area emergency response plans and exercises.
  • Incident response, investigations, and reporting.
  • Providing ongoing safety communications to work groups and interacting with various regulatory agencies and contractors.

Qualifications Include :

  • An OHS Certificate or greater.
  • A Technical Diploma or greater.
  • CRSP designation or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of process and/or occupational safety-related industry experience.
  • Extensive experience with Health & Safety Management Systems, especially the development, implementation and evaluation of these systems is required.

Work Environment :

  • Monday - Friday for 9 hours with breaks and lunch. On call 24/7.
  • 90% Camp-based with up to 10% work from home (3 days/month).

Qualifications Include :

  • An OHS Certificate or greater.
