Job Description The Position:We have an immediate opening for a Field Operations Manager in the Winnipeg Branch. Reporting to the General Manager.The Field Operations Manager leads and manages all field operations including coordination, dispatching, service and installation and invoicing. S/he will be involved in the selection, development, leadership, motivation, coaching and management of her/his direct and indirect reports. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Responsible to lead, develop and manage the Field Operations resources Identify, monitor and manage customer service standards, including timeliness and professionalism Recommend and implement necessary action to improve revenue generation and profitability within the department Ensure effective dispatching of technicians, timely completion of work orders and accuracy and timeliness of billing process Drive direct labor utilization, margin and customer satisfaction metrics within the department Proactively support the CDS safety program and initiatives, comply with all safety policies and procedures (including customer site specific programs), and ensure utilization of safe work practices on site, in the warehouse and office Ensure workmanship adheres to CDS quality standards, and identify and implement improvements to standards as appropriate Maintain positive customer relationships, for CDS, in collaboration with the local Branch Manager and sales team Maintain a positive attitude and communication style with customers and employees in all circumstances Qualifications Qualifications Ability to develop and implement processes Strong organization and decision-making ability Good negotiation skills and persuasive ability Valid driver’s license and ability to travel Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks 4+ years of progressive experience, with 2+ years in a management capacity Experience in an industry with a service and installation or distribution company, preferably in a construction environment Valid driver’s license and ability to travel Education: 4-year degree preferred or equivalent of work / education experience Experience in industry with a service and installation or distribution company, preferably in a construction environment We offer: A positive work environment with competitive pay and an excellent benefit plan Encouragement and support for our Technicians and Installers in obtaining CDI Certification Comprehensive technical, safety and product training provided Stable, consistent work with opportunity to build a long-term career with upward mobility Excellent Health and Dental benefits offered for full time employees COR Certified workplace Equal opportunity employer
