Field Services Equipment Operator

Our  Edmonton, AB  location is currently looking for a  Field Services Equipment Operator (Emergency Response Operator)  to join our team. This position is responsible for operating and driving a variety of equipment on various client sites. Position requires candidates to be willing to travel and work varying hours.

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Safely operates and drives equipment to and from work sites;
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections;
  • Makes emergency roadside adjustments and repairs, reports malfunctioning equipment;
  • Ensures cleanliness of equipment;
  • Maintains and updates drivers log book and completes all required paperwork.
  • Works with Class 3 Vacuum Trucks, Combo Trucks, Steamer Trucks.  
  • Supports hands on operation of the truck and wand operation. 
  • Supports labor operations of Field Services Team on projects. 
  • Class 3 License required;
  • Class 1 License is an asset; 
  • Yellow Iron Experience is an asset; 
  • Willing to travel and work on a scheduled and unscheduled basis;
  • Willing to work on a portion of the schedule on call; 
  • Previous experience operating wet/dry vacuum, combo, steamer and/or hydrovac units highly preferred;
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission required;
  • Ability to drive a manual split transmission required; 
  • Ability to support Field Service Technicians as needed with project work required; 
  • Previous industrial experience is required;
  • Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, CSTS, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, TDG etc) are an asset.
  • Ability to follow all company policies for Transportation Compliance;
  • Ability to work on an Ad-hoc schedule basis; 
  • Ability to support Field Services and Emergency Response lines of business. 
  • Ability to be clean shaven to wear respiratory protection.
