Financial Analyst

Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Analyst is responsible for working closely with him on various projects as well as performing different types of analysis for the different divisions of the EBSU group. Responsibilities

  • As a financial analyst, you will have the following role:
  • Participates in the budget process; performs the variance analysis and presents the data and conclusions to management;
  • Perform month-end analysts;
  • Manage the team of auditors during audits;
  • Evaluate the financial and profitability impacts of the various projects to make informed decisions in order to achieve the objectives of the various divisions;
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions;
  • Perform analyzes on intercompany accounts and on certain unusual transactions;
  • Update dashboards;
  • Support the team in the implementation of continuous improvement processes allowing increased productivity across the various divisions of the group;
  • Implementation of internal controls;
  • Review the cost prices of the various projects of the various divisions;
  • Participates in the preparation of analysis and report;
  • Analysis of inventory and balance sheet accounts;
  • Ad hoc project.
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in accounting, CPA completed or progress;
  • Experience with an "ERP", preferably SAP, an asset;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset);
  • 10 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Bilingual (written and spoken);
  • Resourceful ;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel software;
  • Very good analytical skills, good judgment and attention to detail;
  • Sense of organization, respect of deadlines and management of priorities.
