With first-class offerings, an acclaimed culinary team, and a genuinely kind-hearted service team, our mission is to make this your moment!We are currently hiring experienced Service Leaders to join us at Tavern on the Green and Hillside Events at Ledgeview Golf Club in Abbotsford!This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity ending September 30th, 2023, with the opportunity for an extension.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:In other words, assisting the F&B leadership team in managing day to day operations at Hillside Events and Tavern on the Green as a Lead ServerEnsures that the restaurant or special occasion is operating efficiently and that every customer has a positive and pleasant dining experienceEnsuring guest satisfaction in all areas of food & beverage, service, and environmentCommunicating with the team through daily log outs and updatesDeveloping and maintaining relationships with guests to encourage repeat visitsSupervises the concession stand, beverage cart, and other on course food & beverage related operationsResponsible for the event preparation, set up, service of food and beverage clearing and clean up as per specifications in the Hillside event orderCash and account handlingPlanning and execution of golf related events & tournamentsPerforming other relevant duties as assigned by the General ManagerWorking Conditions:Hours and shifts may vary, must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. The Perks:Fun work culture and company eventsStaff discount at all JRG locations and discounted meals during shiftsOpportunity to participate in the Company’s Extended Health Benefits Plan after 6 months of employmentAccess to ongoing training and development through Joseph Richard University (JRU)Opportunity for advancement throughout all JRG establishments and divisionsOpportunity to participate in the JRG Join Us Employee Referral ProgramMinimum of 1 year experience as a Food & Beverage Server and/or Bartender, previous leadership experience considered an asset! * Serving It Right * First Aid Level 1 is an asset, but not required * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
